Grossglockner Relief Poster
The Grossglockner is Austria's roofline: 3,798 metres, a summit pyramid with the Kleinglockner at its shoulder, and beneath it the Pasterze — still the longest glacier of the Eastern Alps — curling east toward the Kaiser-Franz-Josefs-Höhe. A 14 km frame holds nothing but Hohe Tauern: ridges radiating from the peak, hanging glaciers on the north side, and the young Möll starting its run south out of the ice.
Exact sheet preview — rendered by the same pipeline that produces your print file.
Only one edition is offered here, and it is the right one: Relief, with hypsometric tints climbing from valley floor to summit rock and hillshading carving out cirques, moraines and the crevassed back of the Pasterze. Centre the summit and the sheet composes itself; rotate a few degrees if you want the glacier running level, the north arrow keeping true the whole time. A2 in portrait gives the massif height, while the 50×50 cm square turns it into a quiet object. Summiteers print their route over the Stüdlgrat or the Adlersruhe as a signal-red GPX line — and the same massif is also available as a 3D relief.

Questions about this poster
Which formats does the Grossglockner poster come in?
A4 (€24), A3 (€39), A2 (€59) in portrait, plus 30 × 30 cm (€29) and 50 × 50 cm (€49) square — printed on matte paper with a title line, coordinates and a scale bar.
Can I choose the map crop myself?
Yes — you frame the crop freely in the configurator, rotate the map to any angle (the north arrow keeps pointing north) and edit the title line. The preview shows the finished sheet before you order.
What is the difference between the editions?
Street is a light, minimal line map without labels; Relief shows the real terrain with hillshading and hypsometric tint from open elevation data; Orthophoto is aerial imagery. You switch live in the preview.
How long do printing and shipping take?
About 3 days of production plus shipping (€6.90, free over €120). Note: the shop is currently a demo — orders generate a real print-ready PDF, but nothing is charged or shipped.
Is the Pasterze visible on the poster?
Unmissable — the glacier runs about eight kilometres east below the summit and occupies the eastern third of the default frame, tongue and moraines included.
Why is there no Street edition for the Grossglockner?
Because there is almost nothing to draw — a single high road ends at the Kaiser-Franz-Josefs-Höhe. Terrain is the whole story here, so this page offers the Relief edition only.
