Lucerne Map Poster
Lucerne happens exactly where Lake Lucerne empties into the Reuss, and the map celebrates it: the bay curves into the city, the river slips out under a chain of bridges, and the Kapellbrücke cuts across the water at its famous diagonal. North of the old town, the Musegg wall and its towers draw a hard medieval line; across the lake, the shore opens out toward the mountains.
Exact sheet preview — rendered by the same pipeline that produces your print file.
Frame the mouth of the Reuss with a slice of the bay and you get Lucerne's whole idea on one sheet — water meeting town, bridges as stitches. In the Street edition the Kapellbrücke shows as a slender diagonal stroke over the river. Relief is the edition for a wider crop: it pulls Pilatus's foothills and the slopes above the bay into the frame and shows how tightly the city sits between lake and mountain. Rotate until the waterfront lies flat along the bottom, name the sheet after your street or your wedding date, and choose A3 for a hallway or 50 × 50 cm for the bay's curve.

Questions about this poster
Which formats does the Lucerne poster come in?
A4 (€24), A3 (€39), A2 (€59) in portrait, plus 30 × 30 cm (€29) and 50 × 50 cm (€49) square — printed on matte paper with a title line, coordinates and a scale bar.
Can I choose the map crop myself?
Yes — you frame the crop freely in the configurator, rotate the map to any angle (the north arrow keeps pointing north) and edit the title line. The preview shows the finished sheet before you order.
What is the difference between the editions?
Street is a light, minimal line map without labels; Relief shows the real terrain with hillshading and hypsometric tint from open elevation data; Orthophoto is aerial imagery. You switch live in the preview.
How long do printing and shipping take?
About 3 days of production plus shipping (€6.90, free over €120). Note: the shop is currently a demo — orders generate a real print-ready PDF, but nothing is charged or shipped.
Does the Kapellbrücke appear on the poster?
Yes — the bridge crosses the Reuss as a slender diagonal stroke in every edition. Crop close to the river mouth if you want it prominent; the live preview shows exactly how it falls.
How much lake should the crop include?
A slice of the bay is usually enough to say Lucerne; widen south-east if you want open water to dominate. In the Relief edition the lake reads as a calm surface against shaded slopes.
